Snow won’t slow us down! We are still hitting the trails in Evergreen and Conifer! Regular exercise is essential to keep your dog happy, healthy, and out of mischief. Our winter hikes not only keep pups fit and entertained, but they also help curb boredom, reduce anxiety, and strengthen muscles to support long-term health. Let your furry friend enjoy a fun, safe winter adventure with us—they’ll return home tired, content, and ready to snuggle. Book a hike and keep your pup active all year long!
“Where Do You Go When the Trails Are Covered in Snow?!”
Often times we head to Evergreen Lake! At Hi-Country Hounds, we keep the adventures going, walking dogs on and around the lake when the local trails are too snow-covered. It’s a great way to keep your pup happy, active, and enjoying the winter wonderland!
“Do you kennel dogs during boarding or day care?”
We don’t kennel any dogs. They’ll be free to relax on one of our many dog beds, snuggle up on the couch and even on our bed (if they’re allowed)! Outside, we have a fully fenced yard where they will be allowed to play under supervision weather permitting!
“Where are you located”
We live in Brook Forest, in Evergreen, near the Brook Forest Inn. Our house is conveniently located right between Conifer/Aspen Park, and Downtown Evergreen.
